THG was formed as a subsidiary of a well established successful company, whose aim is to primarily promote and sell Jobu Design™ camera support products in the UK and European markets, with the sole purpose of providing a swift and efficient supply service to outdoor professional, semi-pro and the serious photographer.

All Jobu Design™ products are uniquely produced by craftsman and are built to the highest quality and specification with very competitive prices.
As a serious amateur wildlife and nature photographer myself, I found that Jobu Design™ products are very user friendly, productive and a pleasure to use. I also believe that the Jobu Design™ product Black Widow Gimbal HD is the best way forward in heavy lenses (big glass) photography as well as the Black Widow Gimbal Jr.2 which is ideal for small to medium lenses.

Initially I had problems in purchasing Jobu Design™ products here in the UK and there was no UK distributor at that time. Combined with this and my strong belief that Jobu Design™ products are the way forward in camera support accessories, I decided to become a UK distributor for Jobu Design™.

We have recently been in discussions with the Owner of Jobu Design™ who is currently designing several new product lines. We believe these are going to be very beneficial to photographers in UK and Europe when they are launched later on this year. Watch this space!!

My wife and I spent the first day of our vacation in Arches National Park in Utah. This was the first time I had the opportunity to use our new JOBU Black Widow. I used it with our Canon 1Ds and a Canon 500mm f/4.0 lens. It was rock solid. No matter the position I pointed the camera/ lens combination it stayed. I could take my hands off and return several minutes later and the nothing had moved in spite of a rather stiff breeze. What a fantastic combination the camera, lens and the Black Widow. I'm not sure what else out there on the market but I doubt anything can equal the Black Widow in cost and especially performance. I'm sure we will be ordering one for my wife to use. One of the Photo Forums I frequent most is the one hosted by Fred Miranda and as soon as I send this to you I'm going to share our feeling with the forum members there. Again, thanks for a great product and great support.

It was another buddy of mine, Jeff Morgan, here in the Minneapolis area (he's in Afton) who purchased it last month, and after I saw it last weekend, I said it looked extremely well made, and easier to use than a double tube type level which I already had. The parcel arrived early this morning. I used my heaviest lens/camera combination to test it out, Canon 10D with battery grip and 70-200mm IS and 2x teleconverter. Balance was easy to setup and movement was fluid. Overall the BWG IMO is a very good alternative to the Wimberley and Canadian made to boot.
